Calvin Klein is one of the worlds leading brands for fragrance and fashion. With our in-house experience of on-screen presentation and interactive media, menu systems and 3D modeling of product ranges, Mustard design was approached by CK to present a stunning in-house concept for 'POD' sales inside retail stores throughout UK and Europe. The project was to involve Pilot schemes at Harvey Nichols in London followed by a national roll-out.
The concept involved high-end ‘coil booth’ concept by which a shopper would be able to see strong graphic branding in an ‘exhibition’ sense mixed with a touch-screen interactive product selector. The make-up/fragrance situated sales POD was to be unmanned, and would enable retail buyers the option to fact-find about make-up / fragrance primarily. The other purpose of the highly visible sales presentation was to educate shoppers of other CK brands – Home and Fashion. Worldwide it was felt that CK brand strengths were uneven between Japan, US and Europe. The sector demands between these regions was still fragrance based with the exclusive CK Home brand looking to expand in all World regions.
