Argus Thermal Imaging
E2V used 3D animation to visualise the Argus4 HR320 Thermal Imaging camera and the Argus LRT Transmitter - The very latest technology available in handheld imaging.
Although the timescales on this project were tight, Mustard Design still produced nearly four minutes of 3D animation at DVD resolution for display at an international exhibition in Germany.
The scale of this project was also demanding requiring not only an accurately modelled version of the thermal imaging camera and the remote receiver station but also a 3D street scene which included an underground station and an apartment stairway all which needed to be populated with firemen, fire engines and fire/smoke effects!
The benefit of using 3D animation can be clearly seen in the finished video - allowing the viewer to not only understand the product's use in various environments but also its wireless capabilities and display features.
